Fostering Character and Sportsmanship in Young Athletes

CVHAA has positively impacted countless homeschooled students by providing competitive sports experiences that enhance teamwork, discipline, and personal growth.

Since its inception in 1992, the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association has cultivated an inclusive and supportive environment for homeschooled students. Through participation in various sports, our athletes have built lasting friendships, developed leadership skills, and grown in their faith, all while competing at a high level. Our Christ-centered mission ensures that families not only choose CVHAA for athletic opportunities but also for the character-building experiences that last a lifetime.

Through our programs, students gain confidence, improve athletic skills, and form meaningful relationships that extend beyond sports.

Our History

The Journey of CVHAA Since 1992

Founded in 1992, the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association emerged from a need for organized athletic opportunities for homeschooled students. Over the years, CVHAA has grown to offer a variety of competitive teams in sports like volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball, while focusing on character development, sportsmanship, and building lifelong friendships amongst athletes and families in the community.

Mission Statement

To love Christ and bring Glory to His name by providing competitive athletic programs for homeschool families in Central Virginia.

Vision Statement

We are a Christ-centered ministry that will provide competitive athletic programs and use them as a venue through which we carry-out Jesus’ commission to make disciples and promote His gospel.
We will be a community of families, coaches, and athletes that emphasizes athletic and personal excellence for the sole purpose of Christ’s glory.
