Gatlinburg, TN — The CVHAA Patriots Volleyball program delivered another exceptional tournament performance this season, with the Varsity girls capturing the 18U Girls Championship at the 2026 Gatlinburg Bash in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
The three-day tournament, held at Rocky Top Sports World from September 23–25, brought together more than 100 teams from across the country, with 107 teams competing across the tournament’s divisions.
The Patriots Varsity team dominated from start to finish, going undefeated and winning all five matches en route to the championship.
Among the highlights of the tournament was a 2–0 victory over the HVA Hawks of Huntsville, Alabama, who entered the tournament with an impressive 25-1-1 record. The Patriots continued their run through bracket play, eventually advancing to the championship match against the Kalamazoo Homeschool Cougars of Michigan, another undefeated team in the tournament. CVHAA came through with another 2–0 victory to claim the championship.
The tournament was also marked by a tremendous individual achievement for Nadia Jastrzemski, CVHAA’s middle blocker, who was named the Girls MVP of the Gatlinburg Bash. Jastrzemski was a key contributor throughout the event, providing a commanding presence at the net and making significant contributions on both offense and defense.
While the Varsity team brought home the championship, the Patriots’ JV and Middle School teams also represented CVHAA well throughout the weekend. The JV girls finished in the Championship bracket, dominating their pool and facing tough opponents throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, the Middle School girls advanced to the Silver Bracket, gaining valuable experience with each match.
The Gatlinburg Bash provided all three Patriots teams with valuable opportunities to compete against homeschool teams from across the East Coast and as far away as Michigan, while building teamwork, confidence, and character both on and off the court.
The Patriots remain committed to competing at a high level while keeping their focus on what matters most—developing athletes of character who seek to glorify Christ both on and off the court.
Congratulations to our Varsity, JV, and Middle School Patriots on an incredible weekend in Gatlinburg!
