The CVHAA Patriots Volleyball program continued its strong start to the 2026 season as both the Varsity and JV teams competed in the first annual New Life Camp (NLC) Volleyball Tournament in North Carolina last Friday and Saturday.
The Patriots Varsity team delivered an impressive performance, going undefeated throughout the tournament and winning all five matches in straight sets. Their dominant showing earned the Patriots first place overall in the inaugural tournament.
The tournament success was also highlighted by strong individual performances. Five Patriots Varsity players were selected to the All-Tournament Team: Eleanor Jastrzemski, Nadia Jastrzemski, Ryann Owensby, Autumn Schwartz, and Caroline Thomas.
The JV Patriots also competed well throughout the weekend, finishing 6th overall in the tournament. Caroline Schantz was recognized for her outstanding play by being selected to the JV All-Tournament Team.
The NLC tournament provided valuable competition and an opportunity for both Patriots teams to grow together as they continue to build on a strong early-season start.
Patriots Back in Action This Week
With the tournament behind them, the Patriots will return to the court for three matches this week.
The Patriots will host Kenston Forest at home before traveling for road matches against Ignite and St. Anne School – Belfield.
As the season continues, the Patriots remain committed to competing with excellence and to developing athletes who exemplify character, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership both on and off the court.
