The CVHAA Patriots Varsity Volleyball team is off to a strong start in the 2026 season, improving to 3-0 after a pair of impressive victories over two strong Richmond-area opponents.
The Patriots opened the season with a commanding 3-0 victory over Farmville Homeschool, setting the tone for what has already become an exciting start to the season.
On Friday, August 21, the Patriots faced one of their toughest early-season tests against Fredericksburg Christian, and the team answered with a thrilling 3-2 victory. The match was a back-and-forth battle, with the Patriots ultimately prevailing in the deciding fifth set, 15-10. The complete set scores were 25-15, 21-25, 25-20, 23-25, and 15-10.
The Patriots continued their momentum Tuesday night, traveling to Trinity Episcopal for another challenging non-conference matchup. CVHAA came away with a dominant 3-0 sweep, winning the three sets 25-11, 25-14, and 25-10.
With three wins in three matches, the Patriots are demonstrating not only their athletic ability, but also the preparation, perseverance, teamwork, and competitive spirit that define the CVHAA volleyball program.
Patriots Head to New Life Camp Tournament
The Patriots will put their undefeated 3-0 record to the test this Friday and Saturday at the New Life Camp Tournament in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The tournament will provide another opportunity for the Patriots to face quality competition, gain valuable tournament experience, and continue developing as a team.
